I called Ocuco and through the practice (they needed their account number and password), they organised a 30 minute crash course on my second day at lunchtime.
It did help a little as there are certain things about the system that you could never possibly know unless you were told, as they are specific to Acuitas. They also showed me how to set up a worklist, which helped marginally as I wasn’t having to click around trying to remember under which heading each task was contained. However there simply wasn’t enough time to cover everything properly, so I still feel very uncomfortable using the system.
I was running late for most of the day and I found it terribly stressful again. I consider myself computer literate and have worked in paperless practices before, but I can honestly say that this software is very tricky indeed. Fingers crossed it clicks into place.
