While Boots are dreadful for cancelling at short notice and they take ages to pay, at least you have 25 minutes per patient and you usually have proper pre-screening done. Specsavers socrates system is super tedious and very slow. It takes ages to review old records and you rarely get full pre-screening done. Given that you only have 20 minutes per patient you have no leeway for writing reports or doing field tests etc!
I think that there should be a minimum of 25 minutes for every adult sight test. Maybe the AOP or the College could push for this?
